Indian's new year-Diwali

Today is the indian's Diwali. It's just kinda like the Chinese New Year that we have in Taiwan, so in the morning, we went to the Indians temple to pray and ate lunch. Even though my friends didn't liked it. But I loved the rice and paneer. It makes me start loving Indian food. In the evening, we had a party in the host family's house. It was like the most crazy and familiar party I've ever had (even though we don't really have parties in Taiwan). It was crowded and noisy. The children's were playing and yelling (sometimes chatting), and the adults are laughing and talked about their family. And the thing that I was shocked is, there are not families! I mean in Taiwan we don't really celebrate holidays that big and crowded. And they also meet every Saturdays, play board games or chat. Isn't it cool? It was really nice and sweet to stay with family and friends.
